Chris: Hi! Can you tell us more about yourself and the role you’re playing in that blooming project?
Anthony: Hello everyone! Thanks for having us present a one-on-one interview with our team. My name is Anthony and I am one of the founders of the Andromeda Apes Galaxy League (AAGL) Team. I am the project manager in charge of communications, promotions, and all of our community initiatives. We have a small team of 3-5 direct members who have vast experience in the crypto space at large, but also plenty of direct exposure to many great (and many not-so-great) projects in the NFT Marketplace stemming all the way back to early 2021, when most of the public were introduced to the concept of NFTs and the whole subsequent boom that took place in 2021.
Chris: Andromeda Apes are pixelated digital artworks helping to save the civilization. What is the story of the Andromeda Apes Galaxy Lease NFT?
Anthony: The story so far made public to the community is: 200,000 years have passed since the fall of humanity. A mysterious virus had managed to infect every individual on Planet Earth. Apes, a close genetic cousin to human beings, managed to survive due to the lack of contamination. As the only animals left capable of using thumbs, they soon took over all existing technologies and evolved. Now, living off planet, many Syndicates have emerged fighting for control of the Cosmos. Asteropaios, a group hailing from the mysterious Hyperion Nebula to fight the large military strongholds of Arcadia and their elite supersoldiers dubbed, “The Dederans” who protect civilian populations from mass-scale devastation. Only those strong enough should volunteer to join the Defense League and join the Dederans in their fight to preserve their advanced ape civilization — the beloved Arcadia — once and for all.
Chris: As a consequence, there are a lot of weapons and medal airdrops. How can one access these drops? What are your official communication channels?
Anthony: Correct. There will be a 1-to-1 match for each Andromeda Ape to receive a complimentary weapon airdrop, followed by military medal airdrops, and finally a unique 1/1 spaceship for each Andromeda Ape to accompany them throughout their intergalactic battles. All of this is on our planned roadmap and will be fully rolled out this year in Q2 – Q3 2022. If you own X amount of AAs, you will receive the same X amount of all these airdrops for each Ape you personally own in your crypto wallet. We will have a snapshot of wallet addresses that will be announced in the near future to register for the airdrop. Chris: So, how many tokens will be released for public minting? What is the token release date?
Anthony: There are — and there will always only be — 1000 unique, 1/1 Andromeda Apes. The Official Launch is on our Opensea Collection Page: April 1st, 2022.
Chris: What are the key differentiating features and characteristics of the Andromeda Apes Galaxy Lease NFT? Are there some rare tokens as well?
Anthony: This is our first official project and we wanted to make sure it was fulfilling a gap in this crowded NFT “pump and dump” space of cheap knockoffs and most projects offering very little utility, exclusivity, and just flat-out good looking NFTs. There are some very rare Andromeda Apes, particularly the Mecha Apes, Spartans, Primates, all of the supersoldier Dederans, and of course, there are a select few with multiple rare accessories stacked upon their base characters which would also be considered extremely rare and out of the ordinary to see.
Chris: Simultaneously, what will be the price of these NFTs? How much will be the minting fee?
Anthony: The price for Andromeda Apes are each 0.25 ETH + the mandatory Ethereum gas fees to receive your Andromeda Ape on the blockchain! Pretty standard stuff.
Chris: There are plans for a DAO formation by the end of this year. How can holders participate in the DAO?
Anthony: DAO Formation is one of our most anticipated and exciting milestones of our 2022 Roadmap. DAO elections will take place in Q4 2022 this year and will naturally be composed exclusively of all owners of Andromeda Apes. As a result, no more than 1000 members can take part in our DAO at any given time. The moment you sell, trade, or “gift” your last Andromeda Ape in your personal collection, you also rescind (by default) your membership ticket to the DAO. Elections for administrative roles and other positions will be decided and held through a community election and all decisions must achieve a majority community consensus for new DAO proposals to be implemented. Other fun events, initiatives, and even the official name of the DAO will be decided by the community through majority polling in Q4 2022 this year!
Chris: Before closing, please describe the roadmap for the future of Andromeda Apes Galaxy Lease NFT. How is the token expected to move forward after completion of public minting?
Anthony: Apart from the DAO and airdrops, our roadmap continues to evolve and grow past 2022. We have preliminary plans for an exclusive video game accessible only to holders of AAs. It is an Andromeda Apes blockchain-infused online game that will be complete with an exclusive marketplace for trading the aforementioned airdropped collectibles as well as provide an RPG-like ranking system for each NFT. We are extremely committed to a low count, genuinely collectible VIP community with emphasis on what the community through our DAO actually wants to see in the future beyond early 2023. It is an exclusive club for the most recent owners of all 1000 Andromeda Apes. When you possess one of these NFTs, you are not only obtaining a unique art piece, you are also receiving an extremely limited membership ticket into the DeFi ecosystem that we are actively building over the next few years to come.
